Manufacturing Process

Casting to
Dispatch

Every HYKORE cover follows the same four-stage process — no shortcuts, no substitutions.

01

Pressure Die-Casting

Aluminum LM24 is pressure die-cast to the HYKORE tooling specification, forming the base geometry of the cover with consistent wall thickness and structural accuracy.

02

Finishing

Each cast cover is shot-blasted to achieve a consistent surface finish, remove casting residue, and prepare the surface for long-term corrosion resistance.

03

Dimensional Check

Covers are measured against the reference specification — diameter, bolt circle alignment, and mounting hole positions — before approval for dispatch.

04

Dispatch

Approved sets — cover plus O-ring — are packed and shipped directly, pan-India, with no intermediary handling between production and delivery.

02

Why this process matters

The design, tooling, and quality control for HYKORE are owned and managed directly — production is not outsourced to a third party once the casting stage is complete. This means every cover that leaves for dispatch has been checked against the same reference specification, regardless of order size.

Because there's no import step in this process, replacement covers can be produced and dispatched faster than waiting on international shipping and customs clearance — a meaningful advantage during unplanned maintenance.
